Since October of 2000, Stillwater has been the home of the Payne County’s Junior Miss Scholarship Program. This premier scholarship program has dedicated itself to developing one of our country’s most vital resources—its outstanding young women.
America’s Junior Miss, established in 1958, is the largest scholarship program for high school junior girls in the entire country. It has helped thousands of young women pay for their college educations. Payne County’s Junior Miss was created to promote the ideals and scholarship of the Oklahoma’s Junior Miss and America’s Junior Miss Programs.
The citizens of Stillwater and Payne County communities are proud of Payne County’s Junior Miss because it reflects the wholesomeness of our community to the rest of the state and nation, and are a tremendous asset in terms of generating positive publicity and goodwill for Stillwater and Payne County.
America’s Junior Miss asks your financial support by sponsoring a scholarship category for Payne County’s Junior Miss contestants.
